Formerly called the Museum of the Regiments, originally hosted four museums featuring the history of the regiments that were based in Alberta. But after the expansion in 2009, it is now home to the largest tri-service museum in Western Canada and the second largest military museum in Canada next to the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa. The span of history represented ranges from the Northwest Rebellion in 1885, the Boer War through the First and Second World Wars to modern peacekeeping operations and the current conflict in Afghanistan.
